HOMEWORK: See useful information below

Maths - Maths homework will start again this term from week commencing 20/04/26. This term our homework focus is on the children learning their times tables. Separate maths assignments will not be set, though the children are strongly encourage to continue with their Doodle daily maths challenges - which we know many of them enjoy.  Children can access their times tables practise on doodle by selecting the green multiplication symbol at the top right of their screen - Their efforts can be clearly seen on the teacher dashboard so that we can celebrate their hard work and measure its impact. We hope you will support your children to practice - little and often goes a long way!

Outside of expected maths homework, we do encourage children to play for just a few minutes, regularly, on Doodle Maths. We find that those who take up the challenge benefit, showing boosted confidence in class.

Spelling  - Weekly spelling practise of the current weeks words (as per attached guides)

Reading - Please continue to read regularly at home with your children

Children should hand their reading records in each week on a Monday so that their achievements at home can be celebrated and their reads counted for our year 4  'round the world' reading challenge.

Thank you for supporting your children with their homework.

Homework club is available in school for children who have been unable to complete the work at home or have chosen not to. It is held on Wednesdays at lunchtime.

Please do let us know if you are having any problems accessing the homework or need any advice or support in relation to homework.
