St Nicolas Junior School 

 

is looking to appoint a

 

LUNCHTIME CONTROLLER

 

To start September 2026

3.75 hours per week

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (12pm to 1.15pm each day)

Permanent, term time only contract

Grade B scp 2-3 (£12.65 to £12.85 per hour)

 

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic person to join our friendly and supportive team, to help create a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience for our pupils.

 

In this role you will

  • Support and supervise children during lunchtime
  • Help promote good behaviour and positive table manners
  • Ensure children remain safe and engaged during lunch and playtime
  • Encourage inclusive games and positive social interaction
  • Support children in resolving minor disagreements and worries
  • Respond to minor incidents and provide reassurance where needed

St John the Evangelist Infant & Nursery School

is looking to appoint a

Nursery Nurse (Level 3)

Fixed term contract to start as soon as possible until end of December 2026

7 hours per week, term time only

Wednesday & Thursday, 8.30am to 12pm

Grade D scp 5 to 9

(£13.26 to £14.12 per hour, pending pay award)

 

We are looking for a skilled early years practitioner, to support the teaching and learning of our nursery children, in offering high quality early years education and care.

The ideal candidate will have completed a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification and will have previous experience of working with young children.

They will be caring and enthusiastic, hard-working and self-motivated. A sense of humour is also a must!
